Introduction
The dataset consists of the passengers’ manifest onboard the ship Titanic throughout her wreckage in April 15, 1912. The aim of this evaluation is to establish preliminary insights on the dataset with variables reminiscent of passengerID, names, gender, family(siblings, spouses, mother and father, and kids), age, cabin quantity, ticket quantity, port of embarkation and record of survivors and non-survivors.
- The dataset consists of seven numerical variables and 5 categorical variables.
- Complete variety of passengers are 891 (with 577 males, 314 females), 601 adults (above age 18, with 395 males and 206 females), 113 kids, (beneath age 18, with 58 males and 55 females).
- Complete variety of survivors are 342 (109 are males with(70 adults, 23 kids), 233 are females with(159 adults, 38 kids)).
- Complete variety of deaths are 549 (468 are males with(325 adults, 35 kids), 81 are females with(47 grownup, 17 kids)).
- Passengers that embarked in Cherbourg are 168, (95 males (62 adults, 7 kids), 73 females with(44 adults, 17 kids)).
- Passengers that embarked in Queenstown are 77, (41 males (12 adults, 4 kids), 36 females with(9 adults, 3 kids)).
- Passengers that embarked in Southampton are 644, (441 males (321 adults, 47 kids), 203 females with(151 adults, 35 kids)).
- Passengers with siblings and spouses are 283, and people with mother and father and kids are 213.
- Complete variety of passengers that paid zero fares are 15, all are males from Southampton with just one surviving the wreckage.
- A complete variety of 687 passengers have no cabin numbers, (99 are from Cherbourg, 73 from Queenstown, and 515 from Southampton).
- A complete of two grownup females don’t have any file of the place they launched into, they each shared the identical ticket quantity and cabin with none family on board they usually each survived the wreckage.
- Passengers with out file of age are 177(124 males, 53 females).
